Step aside, Stars Hollow, we have a cuter irl location for people to swoon over! You may have heard of Paso Robles as one of the biggest up and coming tourist destinations on the West Coast of California. This once sleepy ranching town has transformed from a quaint pioneering village into a bustling wine and dining hot spot. Boasting over 300 wineries in the surrounding area, beautiful weather, boutique style shopping, and a plethora of outdoor activities from zip lining to golfing, it's easy to see how Paso has ended up as a fav in many people's hearts.

It's easy to see why so many choose Paso as their vacation destination, however we love Paso for many other reasons. Aside from growing up in the surrounding area, we love Paso for more than it's wine and exciting thrills. We love getting to know the local business owners, going into a restaurant and knowing each server by name, we love the way the sweet dry straw smells on a warm summer night, the sounds of birds and people calmly strolling through the park, or the sway of the hanging lights from the old oaks in the center park. Most of all it's the feeling of being a physical part of the local community, the feeling of being really integrated in your local culture is really inspiring.

Our shop is a stone's throw from the beautiful downtown park that is now glittered with magical firefly-esque lights year round. The shop has existed in the same location since 1989, being passed through 3 owners and having been woman owned ever since it's founding date! It has been a true honor to continue the legacy of Paso Robles' last independent bookshop and we hope to continue the legacy for many many more years!
